Creative Collage
We could understand collage as a modern art form but also as a creative and playful practice. It’s an art technique of cutting and sticking images together to make a new image or assemblage. We can see collages in the artworks of Pablo Picasso, Hanna Höch and Kurt Schwitters, but before the avant-garde artists many people were already being creative with their scissors and pictures. The subsequent generations of artists and creatives have experimented with many possibilities and materials, including digital manipulation with software.

It seems hard to believe that the leaves and the flowers can actually create permanent prints on fabric, but using Eco-Printing technique it is possible. Fabric dyeing with natural ingredients is an ancient technique, transferring the shapes and the colours of the plants on the fabric however, is relatively new and started about 25 years ago to be applied on fabric.
