Van Alle Talen Thuis is an impulse program that offers children between 0 and 12 years the opportunity to discover and embrace books in their home languages at school and childcare locations. Why? Because the power of home languages is the key to language development, strengthens Dutch and ensures understanding between cultures and a stronger community.
Through work sessions, e-learning, an intervision moment and a learning network, teachers, pedagogical staff and library staff will be professionalized. They will learn how to apply a multilingual book collection. When you participate in the professionalization, a free multilingual book collection will be made available for your location. The collection is tailored to the needs of the location.
