Promoting and Supporting  International Female Artists

Discover and support the new artists in town

Here at Creative Town, supporting female artists and promoting new talent has been at the heart of what we do since the very beginning of International Creative Women.  Many artists have moved to NL in the last years and  we know how tough breaking into any market can be!

We strongly believe in the importance of supporting these creative women and considering that visibility is KEY for artists,  we have decided to transform Creative Town into an art gallery for one weekend every month, so we can offer a place to the new artists in town.

You can also support them. You can visit their exhibitions, follow and share their work on social media, and of course, you can buy from women artists whose work resonates with you.

The Expositions

EARTHLY

‘’Earthly’’ is an exhibition that is inspired by nature, animals, traditions and superstitions. It consists of artwork painted on different textures and materials. Come look at these pieces and see for yourself.

Swimming in emoceans.

"If my mouth doesn't say it, my face definitely will " - " Swimming in emoceans " expo is showing face and body expressions through the figurative artworks.

Marta Tuminska is a Polish, self-taught artist living in the Netherlands. Marta's creativity and emotions were stored in her for many years and exploded in 2018 when the art journey began! In her art she mostly focuses on humans, their emotions, feelings and fears. Our bodies are like mirrors to our souls. Figurative drawings and paintings are the best way to express that. In her artworks she uses acrylics, charcoal and graphite.

“Joie de vivre"

Margarita Cruz is an artist of atmosphere paintings. She creates still lives, cityscapes, and abstract paintings to make people feel cozy. Enrich their places with beauty, positive vibes, and emotions. Daily inspire them to enjoy life. Thick, visible strokes and vivid colors of oil paint give a pleasant and joyful spirit.

Margarita Cruz is an artist of atmosphere paintings. She paints still lives, cityscapes with a note of impressionism.

Using a tool like a palette knife allows her to express the beauty and "joie de vivre" (joy of living). She creates art to make people feel cosy. Enrich their places with a positive vibe and emotions. Daily inspire them to enjoy life.

She adores thick and visible strokes of oil paint. It makes a painting look textured and vivid. She also finds her inspiration in colours. For her, colour + texture this is what is charming and touching! Her works are in private collections in The Netherlands, Spain, USA and Australia.

Now she is working on a new collection with feminine portrayals. For part of her life, she photographs beauty in people being true selves. During these photoshoots, she can see a person's soul and then create artwork with that image.

Meet the artist

During these special weekends , visitors have the chance to meet new artists, hear their stories, and of course get unique pieces.

Each exhibition has a different flavour, a different vibe, reflecting the roots and journeys from the artist.

We are really happy and proud to support female artists and their creative endeavours.

Art brings people together

These exhibitions also help us to connect. Art binds, and this initiative shows it perfectly.  Internationals and locals get together to get inspired, to reflect and to build connections that transcend differences.
