This series is dedicated to different types of love. Love for a partner, love for family, love for friends, and love for a team. This post is about an entrepreneur woman who embodies all of these loves, with a unique twist.  Yolima is Colombian, she loves football, and her heart beats for PSV Eindhoven. This woman represents the love that transcends borders and unites people from different cultures and backgrounds. Through her love for the game and her favorite team, she shows us the power of passion and devotion. So, get ready to explore the love of a true football fan.

As a Colombian, football has always been a huge part of her life. It’s not just a sport, it’s a passion, a way of life. The thrill of the game, the excitement of the crowd, and the rush of adrenaline is what make her love football so much.

She recalls the initial experience of the rush of adrenaline. This occurred in 1990 at the World Cup held in Italy. Colombia scored a goal in the 90th minute, resulting in a draw but it felt like a victory as they classified to the next round for the first time ever. Pure happiness!!. That was the moment when her love for the sport was born.

We inquired about the reason behind her love for PSV , she told us that it was tied to another love story. She had met a Dutch national who, as it turns out, was an avid football enthusiast, a match made in heaven! (No pun intended). Later on, they married and she relocated to Eindhoven.

Going to the PSV stadium was a significant step in my integration into Dutch society. The shared passion for football brings people together, regardless of their background or language. At the stadium, She felt like she was a part of a community and language was not a barrier.  She even started incorporating her love for PSV into her business, creating unique designs to honor the club and its players. It’s a way for her to showcase her passion and show her support.

The stadium became a place where she felt at home, it has been a backdrop for many cherished moments, including birthdays, anniversaries, and even Mother's Day celebrations. Every match brings her and her PSV group of friends together, the energy  and enthusiasm of the crowd is Oost is so strong, she felt like she is in Colombia.
