Verónica always had pets in her life, but they were family pets, dogs, cats even horses. When she was 23 she finally got her own dog, and then a second dogma and a cat, tortoises, and a bunny. A very big and diverse family!!
When we posed the question to Veronica about how dogs demonstrate their love towards humans, her answer elicited a collective "aww" from us all. "they don’t judge, they don’t care about your look, about your money, about how big is your house… they just want to be by your side… even if it’s in a small room".
Verónica also shared some tips on how to strengthen the bond between a pet and its owner. She recommends a healthy mix of respect, patience, and fairness as the best approach. "animals don’t do naughty things to bother us… they do the best they can with the education that we provide. Behavior is the response to the information that the environment provides"
