see the world from a different perspective and gain a new understanding of it. ”.

Anindita Bhattacharya is an Indian artist and art teacher. She specializes in different media and techniques of visual arts. Her skills as an artist are matched by her passion for teaching, sharing her knowledge and skills with others.

She had completed a seven years diploma (“Ratna”) in “Fine Arts”. In addition to her artistic and teaching pursuits, Anindita is also an environmentalist, having obtained a master's degree in environmental science. This diverse knowledge base allows her to approach her work from a unique perspective, infusing her art and teaching with a deep understanding of environmental issues.

Anindita loves to bring the values of the rich traditional past (through cultures and drawings). She believes these are still very much relevant in line with the current situation.

For this exhibition,  Anindita connects three concepts, to explore the idea of balance and harmony, and how this connection is crucial for achieving equity in nature and for personal growth and spiritual development. Overall, the theme of "Through the glass" can be interpreted as a way to see the world from a different perspective and gain a new understanding of it. "Dharma Chakra", "Equity in nature", and "Ardha-nariswara" are all concepts that encourage us to look beyond our current understanding and see the world in a new way.

"Dharma Chakra" refers to the wheel of dharma, which is a symbol of the Buddhist faith. It represents the idea of the Eightfold Path and the Four Noble Truths, which encourage individuals to live a moral and ethical life. When we look through the glass, we can see the world from a different perspective, much like how following the Eightfold Path can change our perspective on life.

"Equity in nature" refers to the idea that all living beings deserve to be treated fairly and with respect. When we look through the glass, we can see the interconnectedness of nature and how all living beings rely on each other. We can see how damaging the environment or mistreating animals can have a ripple effect on the entire ecosystem.

"Ardha-nariswara" represents the balance of masculine and feminine energies within all living beings. When we look through the glass, we can see the world in a different light, which can help us see the balance of opposing forces within ourselves and the world around us.
